In 2005, Alternatives TLC's initial mission was to deliver comprehensive hedge fund and fund-of-funds accounting classes to new and experienced fund accountants in the alternatives investment management industry.   Based on feedback from numerous industry firms, over the past two years, Alternatives TLC has expanded its business model to include strategic technology and operational business consulting in addition to educational training services.  Experienced staff strives to impart knowledge, leveraging the talent that industry firms have employed, through a hands-on learning environment and/or consulting assignment at the clients location.  At the same time, woven into the experience, is a heightened awareness of compliance and industry knowledge, thereby creating a stronger and more cohesive framework within which back office personnel can thrive.
